Newsletter 2 for Soufflearning 2 is now online!

We are happy to announce that the second newsletter for the Soufflearning project 2013-2015 is now available for download in five languages here.

In it you will gather a quick overview of Soufflearning as a method for training and development, in what types of businesses it has been successfully used and in which areas of training.

More importantly, however, the newsletter gives a recap of all the exciting things that have been happening in the first project phase. In particular, you will learn:

 

  • How Soufflearning was successfully used on a managerial level at our partner organization in Madrid
  • Why initial difficulties and skepticism on the side of interested companies led to a never-before-seen way of administering language training in Albacete
  • What happened during our series of of the Europe-wide train-the-trainer workshops

Voices on Soufflearning: Feedback from Badajoz, Spain (Pt. II)

Trainers, employees and employers who took part in Soufflearning trainings will share their insight and opinions on the method from their own personal perspectives.

Today’s participant is Raul Iglesias, a trainer who took part in the Soufflearning trainings at our partner in Badajoz, Spain. He is responsible for innovation and business development at the Chamber of Commerce in the Spanish town of Caceres. A law graduate by profession, Mr Iglesias has extensive experience in advising companies and working in business incubation. Let’s hear about his impression of the Soufflearning method. To improve the Soufflearning methodology, in the coming weeks we will conduct a number of interviews with participants from the first round of pretests. Trainers, employees and employers who took part in Soufflearning trainings will share their insight and opinions on the method from their own personal perspectives.

This time we are talking to José Luis Moreno from the Human Resources department at ITP, a company for jet engine maintenance and manufacturing. ITP has been utilizing the Soufflearning methodology for conducting trainings in specific areas of their company.

Today we are talking to Mrs Pilar Serrano. She is one of the trainers who took part in the Soufflearning sessions at our partner Camará Badajoz in Spain. Mrs Serrano currently teaches in the Spanish public primary education system. She also has extensive experience in adult education, occupational training and non-formal vocational training for trade unions, municipalities, educational authorities and training private companies.
